Background.

Joe grew up working for his father in the family's sod farm and Christmas tree business. During that time his father instilled a strong ethic of hard work and customer service by example. Joe has 25 years of experience running his own business beginning in 1980 when at the age of 16 Joe began his first business selling fruits and vegetables, sod, topsoil and nursery stock on 35th & Forest Home Ave. After graduating from Thomas More High School, Joe attended Marquette University until the entrepreneurial bug bit and he left college early to begin a landscaping business. The business employed over 60 people and performed landscape construction and maintenance on residential, commercial and municipal projects. In 2005, Joe sold the landscaping business.
