As your County Supervisor........
|
|
|
√I will bring fresh, new ideas to County Government. We must use a more business-minded approach to operating our
departments and stop the knee-jerk reaction to automatically increase spending and raise taxes year after year.
√I will work with the tools Governor Walker has provided to the county so we can control runaway
benefit costs that have been eating up precious resources. We must stretch our dollars and ease the tax burden on our citizens.
√I will work for legislation to modernize the county pension system.
√I will
work to protect and preserve our park system. We must implement new ways of increasing revenue from the parks themselves so
that we can upgrade outdated and underutilized facilities, and step up maintenance without putting the burden solely on the
taxpayer's back.
√I will continue to fight for County Board reforms like cutting the number of Supervisors
or reducing pay and benefits to reflect a part-time position.
