Joe attended Holy Ghost elementary and middle school where he met his wife Becky. He grew up working for his father on the family’s sod and Christmas tree farm. At the age of 16, he began his first business selling fruits and vegetables, sod, topsoil and nursery stock on 35th & Forest Home Ave. After graduating from Thomas More High School, he attended Marquette University until he started a landscaping business.
Joe and his wife Becky have three children: Andrea, Joe and Gina, son-in-law Adam and one grandchild. They are active members of St, John the Evangelist Parish in Greenfield.
Joe was also a member of the Archdiocese task-force responsible for the West Allis/West Milwaukee Catholic Schools merger, and performs volunteer work and for St. Thomas More High School.
Joe Served on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors from 2008-2012.
He was elected to the represent the 15th district in the State Assembly in 2012. He is the currently the Chair of the Committee on Health and has served on the Committees on Financial Institutions, Housing and Real Estate, Jobs and the Economy, Transportation, Urban Education, and the Speaker’s Task force on Mental Health.
